Terms of use
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms apply to the Kashiva Naturals website, My care and the online consultation service. By using them you agree to these terms.
1. The consultation service
Kashiva connects you with Ayurvedic practitioners (Vaidyas) registered with the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine or a State Board of Indian Medicine. Each Vaidya's registration number is shown before you book. Consultations follow the telemedicine practice guidelines that apply to Ayurveda practitioners in India. Your Vaidya is responsible for the advice they give.
2. Not for emergencies
Online consultations are not suitable for emergencies. If you have severe, sudden or worsening symptoms, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
3. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information, including your name, age and contact number.
- Join your call on time from a private place with a working internet connection.
- Tell your Vaidya about any medicines you take, allergies, pregnancy and existing conditions.
- Keep your account password private.
- If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must book and attend with you.
4. Bookings, cancellations and fees
A booking is a request until your Vaidya confirms it. You can cancel from My care before your appointment. Your Vaidya may decline or cancel a booking if they become unavailable, and we will help you choose another time. Consultations are currently free of charge. If fees are introduced they will be shown clearly before you book.
5. Prakriti reflection and website content
The five question Prakriti reflection and other website content are educational and are not a diagnosis. Kashiva products shown on this website are in development and not yet on sale.
6. Video calls
Calls take place on third-party video services (Jitsi Meet or Google Meet). Calls are not recorded by Kashiva. Do not record a call without the other person's consent.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, make false bookings, attempt to access other people's data or interfere with the website. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Liability
We take care to keep the service accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Kashiva is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the website.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
